These are some of the aircraft that have been pressed into good service over the past years but have since been superceded, mostly due experimenting with new ideas and evolving designs for better flight, better photos or added functions.

Mini Skywalker
The main objective of this plane was that everything needed to fly it and take both video and
still pictures was to be small and light enough that it could be packed into a medium sized suitcase
and taken abroad on holiday. When assembled, it has a wingspan of 84cm (33 inches) and carries a small
digital camera mounted on the nose with a video link to a ground station or video goggles.
Platform
This plane was designed to overcome some of the limitations encountered in using general
purpose gliders for aerial photography. The main objective was to create a plane where the
camera could be forward mounted facing the direction of travel rather than sideways, thereby
making it easier to position the plane for a desired shot. In addition, it was designed to
carry a slightly heavier camera and allow plenty of space to experiment with other features.
